LIPSTICK TUBE

UDN combines the concept of lipstick with tube packaging to show the possibility to dispense the products in different ways. With a range of diameters (16mm and 19mm) and different applicator options including flocked sponge, soft tip, flocked tip and roller ball, the Lipstick Tube shows its flexibility to adopt in the different cosmetics and skin care products. Besides the tube and cap, the barrel also provides decoration options such as metalized, hot stamping, offset and silkscreen printing to create chic and luxury look.

CONCEPT

Inspired by lipstick, one of women’s favorite cosmetics, and aligned with UDN’s lean thinking, the design of Lipstick Tube is simple without complicated mechanism and thus in a cost competitive way. Similar twist mechanism like lipstick to switch on and off the barrel to apply the product on the skin. Formula can only be squeezed out when the barrel is switched on. It’s easy to use without extra effort. Different applicator options make it available in both cosmetics and skin care products. A multi-functional tube packaging solution that brings more benefits to consumers without compromising the chic styling.

Applicator options

• Flocking sponge applicator: the material is PU sponge with flocking which is soft texture and bring gentle skin touch to consumers.
• Soft tip applicator: the material is silicon. Slanted nozzle design makes it easier to dispense the amount of product with control and thus avoid wasting. This shape also fits labial line and thus make application effortless.
• Double roller ball applicator: UDN choose stainless steel as the material of roller ball. Together with roller ball, consumers can enjoy the massage effect while applying the products on the face. Ceramic or plastic roller ball is available upon request.
• Tube Material:
  LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, Co-ex EVOH, PP and Laminate (ABL or PBL) or Co-ex Laminate.
